Shock loss symptoms after hair transplantation

Shock loss symptoms after hair transplantation

All patients will experience a “shock loss stage” after hair transplantation.

Shock loss is caused by disturbed hair follicle cells. This causes a change from hair growth (Anagen phase) to hair loss (Telogen phase) simultaneously, which occurs after 2 weeks of hair transplantation and ends around the 3rd month of transplantation.

Shock loss can occur in 2 areas:

“Recipient site” where the hair roots are transplanted into a new area. After the hair follicle cells are implanted, shock loss occurs. Shock loss occurs in the area where the original hair follicle was transplanted, but this condition can occur in almost all patients.

“Donor site” is the hair follicle behind the hair follicle that has been plucked. Shock loss occurs, causing the hair to fall in large patches on the back. which this condition does not happen often but is considered normal Occurring only temporarily and only in some cases

The shock loss period lasts about 3 months, causing the patient to be very worried during this period. I’m afraid that the hair I planted will not grow, which you don’t have to worry about. The shed hair follicles will gradually grow again. It will form a small fuzz first and progressively thicken the line. Until I see full results 1 year after planting.
